Yep immediately after I give them the bad news I say, "now this isn't a "what can I do for my job back" talk. The decision has been made.". This usually helps.

I had to fire somebody this morning

i hired an employee last year out of desperation since medical transcriptionist in this area are extremely hard to find.
this person had experience and had been employed at one place for a long time so i thought i would give this person a try.

The only thing I question is how Bill felt that Don Imus was rightfully fired, yet makes a statement like that which I think is just as bad and wants to defend himself. Other then that I could care less, I personally find Bill a liar and jerk.

by tula inhow many of you were required to give up a certain career you had in order to become a jw or before you could be baptised?.
help here in naming all the job positions and careers that dubs are not allowed to have and the scriptural reason for it.
detail if possible.. can a jw be a mortician?.

I would think working where I work would be highly unapproved of, maybe even a DF offense. The company I work for contracts taking porn and capturing it in MPEG Format then streaming it over our websites. We are the largest Video On Demand supplier for porn in the world.

Watchtower Custom Prints Bibles for Babylon (1992)

i recently unearthed the documentation and have put it into a pdf.. back about 15 years ago my best friend worked for a christian book store.
he used to order foreign bibles for the store and one evening i was thumbing through a thai bible on the shelf and was dumbstruck.

This was probably a ASV version. I believe the Soceity ownes the ASV and has printed it off and on for numerous sources. They bought the rights around the 1900's.

Perhaps this is a regional thing, but I knew many JW's who owned guns. One was even a U.S. Marshal and had to carry his gun in to the Kingdom Hall...because of some crazy US Marshal law. Anyways long story short, I knew it was "frowned" upon but never enforced.

Was There Any Watchtower Interpretation That You Never Quite Understood?
by minimus ini knew what the watchtower taught regarding the "faithful & discreet slave class" but how they could ever suggest that "domestics" were "individual members" of the anointed that were given food to the other anointed ones, yet they specifically were not members of the governing body, but the governing body represented the group that would take the lead in feeding others, was beyond me!
the whole interpretation of the fds doctrine is ridiculous!.
were there certain things that puzzled you as to how the watchtower could come up with a particular view?

How about that Judas played probably the biggest factor in making salvation possible for individuals...yet he is doomed to an eternity of failure. This has always baffled me. How could Judas have a choice in the matter? Basic Godly divined setup, yet Judas gets damned for eternity.

therefore, when completing the s-77 form, please use such expressions as "violated neutrality" or "took a nonneutral course.
" isaiah 2:4 and john 15:17-19 support these descriptions, as pointed out on page 101 of pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock.

Scriptural guideline for S-77 form....Leviticus 34:17- "And ye shall fill out the s-77 form which hath received from Moses. After completion ye shall mail with a stamped envelope to Bethel. This is the utterance of thy lord Jehovah."
